How much better are these than the stock twins. Do they flow as well as an FMIC because I dont like the idea of cutting up the front bumper

If you wanted to complete the kit with a D1SC, brackets and fans what would the price be?

They flow much better than the smaller 3.5" twin high flow intercoolers. GM Hi Tech had a comparison article approx 6 issues ago on them.
The large front mount does indeed cool even better, but you do have to cut up the front of the car. On our '95 Formula cutting an opening for a front mount would be about impossible. Bob

Sorry, but ATI does not allow prices lower than 7.5% of MSRP in any form of print. Give me a call at 260 244-4808 for a price quote. Thanks. Bob

You would need enough parts that it would probably be cheaper to purchase the complete ATI ProCharger kit. The parts by themselves add up considerably. Bob

GM Hi Tech Magazine had a comparison article on the 3.5" and 4.5" twin hi flow intercoolers, approx six issues ago. I dug it back up. Bob

Ryan compiled the raw data into these convenient graphs and as you can see there was approximately .5 psi less of boost drop off from the larger intercoolers. In addition the larger intercoolers were 10 percent more effective in cooling the intake air temperature, especially in the upper rpm range....

...At 6500 rpm intake air temperatures were only 62 degrees with the 4.5-inch intercoolers, meanwhile, with the smaller units, intake air was at 71 degrees. As you can see from the graph, as rpm and boost increased so did the disparity between the two intercoolers, proving the potential with higher boost levels.

How would these intercooler work with an F1R? Do this also include a better plenum box?

Also, how much 3" aluminum and silcone tuning do you carry in stock? I might need some extra pieces to install either the new twin or the Spearco W/A.

These intercoolers would certainly work better with an F1R than the smaller 3.5" intercoolers, but unless you're completely against cutting out the front of your car for a large front mount intercooler, I would go with the front mount.
The intake plenum that is supplied with this kit is basically the same plenum that is supplied with the smaller 3.5" twin hi flow intercoolers, the inlets are just larger. Bob

I keep quite a bit of the silicone in stock for our front mount kits, but I currently don't have any 3" aluminum tubing. Bob

Isn't this about the same price as your FMIC?
