GMMG installed!
Could not be happier....... Very throaty, not to loud, Loud when I want it and very, very little interior drone. Nothing like the Flowmaster 80 series muffler that was on my SS before. I polished it her up and this made it look very SHARP. BTW, my 2001 SS is stock w/cats......

Re: GMMG installed!
I'm thinking about getting the GMMG on my next LS1 (sometime this summer). From the pics I've seen, the tips don't look good at all though. Has anyone added after market tips? I'm planning on running Hooker Long tubes, maybe QTP, with !cats.

Personally, I think it is somewhat loud throughout the entire rev range as compared to the many other systems I've heard or tried. My only complaint is that it is way too quiet at idle(but that has more to do with the LS1 itself).

Re: GMMG installed!
Yes Mike, I want to tell you a BIG THANKS! Your quick responses to my exhaust cat-back questions were right on target! And a BIG THANKS to the other guys here, SLP board, LS1.com, Camaroz28.com...... appreciate it!
To the question above on the tips..... I got the "better" tips from GMMG. They are like pancake style and much bigger than the normal ones and they are GREAT! If you buy the GMMG just bite the bullet and get the bigger, better tips. You won't be sorry.
