Re: whats louder??? I think the LM will be. If you use dual bullets it will be great sounding but i dont think it will be as loud as the LM. IMO the LM sound is nice but the true duals sound much better.

Re: whats louder??? I've had both. The loudmouth is loud in an unrefined and raw way and the duals are loud in a clean way. When the loudmouth is rasping between 2300-3200rpms it is WAY louder than the duals. At normal cruzing speed they are about the same with the duals being a little louder. But overall the loudmouth will be louder.

I still can't really drive the car, only put a few miles on it since install, i need to break the clutch in and put it on a dyno. Then when i can i will decide. What kind of gain from change to true duals

Re: whats louder??? I have an 01' SS with Hooker LT', ORP, and a loudmouth and I love it. Are you running cats? If you are not, and you are looking for the overall loudest exhaust... take the cats off and keep the loudmouth. I love my setup!!!

Re: whats louder??? Well the headers are going on as we speak, i love the way the car can be heard in houses from down the street and well now i will have the oryp and loudmouth. So i guess her neighbors will just have to stay awake till i leave <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: whats louder??? I've had both the x-pipe setup with longtubes, and loudmouth with no cats and longtubes. The LM setup was ear piercing at WOT from behind the car, but at WOT the X-pipe was just as loud. The x-pipe setup has ALOT of resonance and will rock/rattle every piece in your car. But its the best sounding setup by far, and certainly the most intimidating. The Rasp of the LM/ no cats/lt's blows. I like the setup for a while, then it was just to obnoxious and sounded horrible. I'm now running Magnaflow catback with no cats, and LT's, and I like it the best of all I had. Its really loud when you want it to be, and not when you want to be quiet.
