polished my drivers side coil rail today
well i know that many people relocate their coils but i'm not wanting to do that yet so i spent some time this afternoon and polished the one on my drivers side. first i took the paint off and then i ran several polishing pads and such over the rail to get it smooth and shiney as possible. i'll polish the one on the passengers side tomarrow.
who knew that polishing my throttle body and MAF ends would get me trying to polish everything that i can.

Polishing EVERYTHING will lead to your motor looking something like this: <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

to AZLS1, my response to that pic was holy....****!!!! How did you do all that? Did you have to tear the entire motor apart? Did you have someone do the polishing or did you do it yourself? What did it take to do that? How long did it take? How much did that cost to do that? Are the inside of the heads polished? Wow!!! That looks awesome!!! I love the way polished aluminum looks! Thanks.
