Default Easy way to lower rev limiter?

Is there a quick & easy way to lower the rev limiter to, say, 3000? I'd like to do this without programming; hopefully with just a switch or a key I can use to turn it on when I want. It'd basically be just a safety device against HP starved valets & shop workers. Would Harlan's 2-step work well for this? Is it fairly easy to hide?

Shades of the LT5 "Valet Key".

Its controled by the computer, reprograming or burning the chip is the only way you can change it. Welcome to Y2K engenering <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
