new clutch, does not release fully
finally after almost two years in the works for a new engine, finally the car has rolled out under its own power, UNFORTUNATELLY the clutch does not release fully
Im pretty sure the cluch is properly bleeded, even thou I heard (read) that it is hard to bleed, and it is common to leave air.
I rebuided the pressure plate, the pedal is very hard, has full movenent but even at full travel it grabs to the point that the engine stalls and a heavy use of brakes is needed.
if you release a little from the VERY FULL PRESSED position, it grabs a little more, does not slip.
Im just about to take again my tranny off because a frien told me that the f#cked up my clutch, the mirror is not moving and only the fingers of the pressure spring are deflecting; and need to redo all over again including honing the flywheel and mirror
any sugestions prior to disasembling?
(drill mode done!)
