TR 230 guys which exhaust twin 2 1/2" or twin 3"
I have TR 230 cam, ported heads etc.
I currently have 1 3/4" 4-1 long tube headers with 3" collector, the rest of the system is twin 2 1/2" mandrel bent, hi flo cats, x pipe.
Would there be any gain going to twin 3" all the way through?

I'd go 3" just to be sure. You have 3" collectors, why have a restriction after them?
I've never noticed using larger exhaust pipe being louder so long as the same muffler is being run. But, I've never run duals with an LS1 either so what do I know?

I have dual 3" with x-pipe. I only lost 3rwhp compared to running open headers with extensions and gained a ton on the low end!

blue is the 3" duals
red is open headers with extensions
I am running the TR230 and GTP heads, 346ci
No cats but I have bullet mufflers off each header.
