sounds like you screwed up putting the throttle body back on. maybe you bent the plate or something or there's not enough slack in the cable and it's pulling the plate open. i'd bank on the throttle body before anything with the intake. make sure it's on right and there's no bent plating.

yea that's possible too. either way, you messed up putting something on. check the throttle body is secure before you do anything as that is the easiest to get on and off. also make sure you bolted your air lid correctly, although i don't think that would be the cause.

You have an air leak somewhere. Probably need to remove and reinstall the intake. Did you replace the 2 vaccume lines in the back and the MAP sensor?

Are you saying it idles too high??? If so, try screwing out the Hex screw on the throttle body stop plate a few turns. If you nearly have to take the screw out, you may very well have a leak in the system after the TB.

No it dosent even sit at idle..the rpms instantly sore. I cant see a leak anywhere..I mean would a bad map sensor cause it? I thought if the map sensor was seated wrong..or not properly in all the way..it would idle rough..this is just instantly climing the rpms.

Sounds like its an intake or vacuum leak to me. Could be coming from anywhere really. You can do a smoke test to find it or take a can of Carb cleaner and spray it around the edge or the intake, sensors, matting area of the TB and if its leaking it will suck the carb cleaner in and the revs will drop or even stall the car.

You walked into a vacuum leak somewhere for sure. Check your harnesses and make sure they are all going somewhere also.

Did you remember to re-install the tiny vacuum line that goes in below the map sensor?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Spray some carb cleaner or propane around the intake gasket and listen for changes in the way your engine revs. If you hear changes at a certain spot, youve found your leak....

friend of mine has the same problem, well kinda, at start up the rpms hang around 1500 to 2000 then after a few seconds they drop down grad. to normal idle. thinking he has a vaccum leak as well got on it a little bit a the SES light came on checked for codes and it said it was running lean in both banks
