Since this is the EXTERNAL forum that implies bolt-ons. Cold Air Induction (Lid), Underdrive Pulley, Long Tubes, Meziere. That'll knock the hell out of 2K.

Depends what you want, I mean 2k is almost half way to a lower level blower or turbo kit if that the route you want to go.

Or you could go for handling or just simple bolt ons?

Personally (if you're in CA it will be different though):
-Pacesetter LT headers and ORY from Texas Speed & Performance - $500
-TSP Rumbler cat back (~$200) or you could go for their Rumbler X duals (you wouldn't need the ORY then, but stick with the Pacesetter LT's).
-If your car is 98-00 then you'll need the LS6 intake (2nd hand or new from TSP/SLP) - $400
-Port your own throttle body (it's free )
-TSP lid - $95
-TSP cam (torquer 2 or MS3) and install kit (~$500) (if you can find some more money or if you don't need some of the parts listed then they also offer CNC ported LS6 heads at a great price - $900
-If your an auto then get a torque converter (3400+) speak to Fuddle Racing or Yank - $500
-Tranny cooler (if auto) $100
-Dyno Tune
-If you have any money left over look at chassis mods such as SFC or LCA, check out UMI Performance
-If M6 get a shifter

IMO I'd not bother with gears as the stock 10 bolt is pretty weak and with more power and espcially if your an M6 you'll only break it which means the gears would have been a waste of money. Aftermarket 9" or 12 bolt rears are available but will cost $2k+ on their own.
