Default whats the least amount of tire for a M6

What is the least amount of tire I can get away with on an M6 making about 410 at the wheel with around 3100lbs weight? I will be driving it 2 or 3 hundred miles a week and I curently have stock 16" wheels. I have 245 nitto drag radials but could only muster a 1.8 sixty foot with 18 pounds of air in them. I want to stick with a dot tire for the street and rarely see the track but want to hook on both, (knowing I will give up a little on both sides with out a seperate dedicated tire wheel combo for each one.)

So I was just wondering with the right suspension set up what can I do?

I currently have
- moser 12 bolt 4;56 gears
-relocation brackets
-BMR lower control arms
-BMR adjustable pan hard
-random tech torque arm
-HALS front and back with 300lb front springs and stock springs in back
-BMR subframe connectors

Also do you think it would be worth having MadMan adjust the setup I already have.

with a 315nitto you can go 1.5's in a m6 car if you can drive, the mt radials hook even better but your giving up more for drivability on the street since they wear out quicker

That is a lot of tire to haul around. Do you loose much MPH with it.

I would get some MT ET Street Radials 255/50 R 16's if you want to stay with your 16" wheels. You could also get some of the Bias ply MT ET Streets too! They come in 26, 27, and 28 inches tall for 16 inch wheels.

How do the bias mix with the radial? Does it affect handeling any.

imo, et streets suck, the mt radials hook better, then if thats not enough go to a full drag tire, i think et streets are dwindeling away slowly now

I would also go with the ET street radial on a 16 inch rim.

It is okay for the track. The street is not too good to run around on a mix unless you like going in a straight line a lot! The ET Street Radials sound like they would fit your needs if you want to use them for the street mainly.

If you want 28's, get the M&H 275/55-16 DR. That'll hold the power!

That will be too wide for the stock rim.

What kind of mileage would you expect out of the et street?
