Default Getting my T/A more consistent

Ok guys, I need some help from those of you who have already been through this. I just got my 98 TA and the only mod is a lid. It is an A4 2.73 gear 97K on the clock and a real dog. The car has no consistency whatsoever. My runs varied from 13.94 to 14.13 mph all 100-101. 60' times were in the 2.05-2.07 range. The car went three rounds in a street tire shootout last Sat and this kind of consistency will not win races.

What mods, if any, can I put on to make the car more consistent. The car does not need to be fast, as Ive gone a lot of rounds in a lot slower car.

I know somebody knows how to make these cars run dead on. Thanks.

John

My next mod will be a Vigilante 3200 converter, when it gets here, then DR's.
I have LCA's, panhard bar and adj torque arm, not on yet because the car does not make enough power to turn the tires, as the 60's show.

Put the car in open loop tune. That helped my car the most.

It might be harder to stay consistant with the higher stall. But the DRs should keep the spinning to a minimum. The suspension pieces should help in bracket racing.
