Default My Corvette vs Henessey 550 Viper

First off, yes I launched crappy. Yes the Viper owner launched crappy. Yes it was for fun, he is my neighbor/friend/business partner. He dynoed at 450/500 or something like that ( I took the car to the dyno for him, I just cant' remember the exact numbers. ) I was trying out my new Kuhmo tires and thus didn't really launch until the 3rd run. No nitrous was used as I sold my kit and am EDIT: confused as to what TT kit to get . I hope you guys enjoy:

Nice run. You're going STS kit, single or twin?

Twin, once again nothing is finalized, picking out a TT kit is like pulling teeth. It's not for a few months off, if you get pictures of your C5 TT kit up and going I would be glad to look at them. What I should edit it to say is that SOME company in a couple months is going to get my money......

I notice your sig pic, looks like you auto-x, I know some owners of tti kits say you cannot turn lock to lock due to intake pipes.. just a heads up..

I understand, I was just curious if you opted for a big single or twin.

Cool vid! It sounds like you guys were only running to the top of second? On the third run, how fast did you end up going?

That's not oil, I am running catless so that's unburnt fuel particles, and yes I don't even have a nitrous kit anymore.

On the second run the Viper got squirrely going into second and moved into my lane, I saw it in my rear view (grins) and just shut down. We went to the top of third which for me is close to 120ish. Technically we shut down JUST before the actual end of the 1/4, it's marked out there (we re-do the lines every summer). I haven't done the drill mod yet and so I can't really go from 3rd to 4th because of the POS fluid restriction.

And since it was the Viper's first time out I wasn't really trying to beat him all hardcore (thus the walking off the line and asleep at the start). The third time though I actually was trying to run past him as hard as I could. We will have more video up as soon as the weather clears. Anymore questions, keep 'em coming! And thanks for the comments!

I have TSP Torquer V.2 112+2 LSA, Texas Speed Longtubes to the stock h pipe (minus cats), stock cat-back, VaraRam intake. Other than that it's bone stock, oh and I have the valvetrain to handle the cam of course.
