Dart 225 after info
Firstly I am going to use JZsTA flow numbers, since we didnt use the dart recommended valve and my numbers are lower than his. His before and afters below.
Lift---Intake---------Exhaust
200---108vs143----108vs121
300---194vs207----164vs170
400---246vs261----207vs220
500---281vs291----231vs241
550---288vs293----237vs245
600---294vs303----241vs248
625---290vs306----242vs250
650---286vs311----242vs252
675---282vs313----
700---278vs315----
Here are my afters
intake exhaust (NO PIPE)
200 134 104
300 201 142
400 255 178
500 297 205
600 321 220
700 326 224
800 329
Not too bad for a new casting, but dont we always want more? This is with a different valve job on the intake and exhaust, with valves to compliment. Notice how the intake never stops flowing? That is what is great about the wide throat valve job I have been using the last few months. Its my thought, the engine pulls harder than the flowbench, thus makes the difference in upper lift stability more adventagous than on the flowbench alone. I dont think that the head is going leaps and bounds further than I got it, unless you increase runner size and go with a 2.08 valve. The seat and chamber have plenty of room for it. A few pics below for reference.

Those are nice man!! Some of the nicest work I've seen! So you started with their 225 or did you have a 205 and brought it up to a 225? Are you on stock cubes? Just curious why you started with the 225 if you in fact did?

Just joking...That's actually just the rocker arm bolt. It's fine the way it is. The rocker arm bolt just needs a bit of thread sealer and it'll be fine.

Are those marks form a burr or a coarse sanding roll?

Looking mighty nice man.
Damn good flow numbers as well.
Looks like were on the same page with taking the least amount out possible while really picking up the head.
BTW my head flow numbers were the 205's with hand ported with a DART valve job.
We will be doing a new valve job on them to see what happens.
Now there are even more options.
I am sure I will do a set of 225's soon as I have a customer with a 396 all stroke motor looking for heads and is giving these some thought.
