Default 1 3/4 to 1-7/8 Longtubes?

Well guys ive got pacesetter LTs 1 3/4ths on the car right now and there great, but im going to a 396 and im wondering if the 7/8ths will better suite my new setup.

What do you guys think?

IMO the 1 3/4" are fine, if you were looking to rev well past the stock pcm capability the it MIGHT be worth looking at the 7/8"

7K? Why? What cam in going in that? The 396 is a stroker motor for mucho torque - it shouldn't need to spin to the moon to get you down the track...

The 1 3/4" headers will probably work better for you.

Thumbs up

I am using 1 3/4 inch headers with my 388. The engine doesn't feel choked at all.
