Open headers, almost...

Open headers, almost...
Has anybody put a cutout after each header? I have the flp's, and I was thinking about putting a cutout in each of my "off road" pipes, so essentially it'd be almost like running open headers. I was curious if anybody has tried that, and seen any gains on a bolt-on motor. Thanks.

Re: Open headers, almost...
The QTP headers have the QTEC's on them. They are electric cutouts, and they sound nothing short of AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! You can listen to them on the website and the best part is when you are sitting at a light and some POS honda revs its ricer up and you flip a switch and run open headers. The ricers tend to pull slowly away from the light at that point!! So to answer your question.... Yes they sound great and yes it is very doable.

I have dual flowtechs coming right off of my TTS collectors. I gain 1.5mph on my H/C motor.
