leak checks
any good ideas on how to check the charge pipe for leaks, my 5 psi system wont get over 4 psi. needle tends to bounce right at 4. we just installed a 7 psi spring and it made no differnce so im sure its just a leak.
by the way took it to the 1/8 mile track here in Holt, FL and it ran 7.66 at 92 mph on street nittos.

Most auto repair shops have smoke machines. They are primarily used for evap. leak detection. We use it for anything that leaks and it works perfect for even the smallest leak (exhaust, vacuum, oil or coolant). That's one idea for you.

Head to Home Depot. Get some rubber plumbing plugs and caps and and you should be able to iosolate and locate a leak. By capping and pluggung areas and pressurize with compressed air. Use a bit of soapy water in a spray bottle as wellwhich will point out the real small ones.
