Re: AIR block off plates
Do the "race style" headers have the AIR provisions welded on them? I'm not sure if they do. My headers (once known as Grotyohann now QTP) did and until just last week, my AIR hoses just bolted on to them. If you plan on deleting your AIR system, you'll need block off plates for sure. I know I'm kinda vague but this all hinges on whether or not the headers come with AIR flanges.

AIR block off plates
I have a 2001 WS6. I am planning on getting the QTP LT headers race style. I was just wondering if i will need block off plates for the AIR system? Maybe a stupid question but i just dont know.

Re: AIR block off plates
depends on what you are choosing to do. if you wish to keep catalytics on the y-pipe then you will need to order the emission style headers and will have to keep the AIR system in place.
if ordering the race style headers there are no AIR or EGR(doesnt apply to your 2001) provisions.
choice is up to you as to what you would like for the car and then you would have answered your own quesion. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
