Help me out and vote
Cliff notes version: I have Borla, LT's, and ORP. Too loud. I've decided that the only tips that look good on a Z28 are the stock ones. I'm getting a converter soon, want sleeper look and sound.
One of my friends on this board is going to give me his stock Z28 catback w/ Flowmaster 80 series muffler in place and a cutout, for a case of Coors Light and pack of ciggs ($20 combined). I'm kind of broke right now so take money into consideration when choosing. Here are my choices:
A. Keep the Borla and just put the full block off plate in (Cost:$0).
B. Put on stock catback, sell Borla, and just live w/ the power loss (Gain:$300).
C. Put on stock catback, sell Borla, use cutout as an electric "Zed style"cutout (Gain:$100).
D. Put on stock catback, sell Borla, replace Flowmaster muffler with Magnaflow or Hooker muffler but keep stock tips (Gain:$150).
E. Keep Borla, put in full block off plate, weld stock tips in place of Borla tips (Cost: $50).
Remember, your vote counts <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

And that is why you would have cut your self short.

I want $, stock tips, and a quieter exhaust so I think this is my solution.
