Question slick track techique

Whats the best way to take off when its 90+ outside and you just can't get it to hook up. Are some drag strips just to slick in hot weather?I have a 3200-3400 vig convertor,3:73's and 17/35/315 nitto 555r's usually run at 15 lbs? It isn't just me because everyone else is hazing the tire too!

Yes, once the track surfaces gets really hot it gets greasy. Nothing you can really do except come out at a lower rpm. Or maybe switch to a more agressive DR or maybe even a slick. -Mark

Loosen front shocks all of the way and take the suspension limiters out.

lower staging rpm is the best cure unless you have a multitude of suspension adjustments you can make to try and tame the surface.
My car was spinning bad last weekend with 1.64-1.72 60 foots off the transbrake on 135 degree track temps.
This past weekend: I footbraked on even hotter 138 degrees and went 1.57-1.58 all night.
