Default GM High Tech Mag. LS7 Clutch in a ZO6

So I was reading the latest issue and they were testing a stock 06 ZO6 and they were complaining about the clutch can't be hot lapped or it will smoke right up. But it did run som nice times, 11's I think. Just an FYI for LS7 clutch owners and prospective buyers.
I have one and It has been great at the track the once I went.

My LS6 clutch now is like that sometimes, I figure the LS7 clutch i'm going to use will do it too.. there is an easy fix though.. don't hot lap the car.

Do they shift the same way the car companies must do when they make their egregious acceleration claims?

I hot lapped my stocker ls1 clutch in 80 degree temps, 2-2.5k launches (track prep sucked), high 13 times (stock ls1). I think I managed a whole 20-25 runs in a span of 1.5 hours...

Though I must say.. the clutch felt "different" since then lol

LS7 clutch coming soon... while the clutch passes the 5th/6th gear low speed WOT test along with the 1st, 2nd 3rd gear chirp, I think I'll run it till it dies...
