Default Roofer Dave's car ... 7.87 @ 179

We had a chance to shake down Dave's car a bit today at a Milan rental. We made four passes, so the car now has a total of 6 passes on it. Started with about 10psi to check out the suspension changes and ran an 8.42 and 8.08. All looked good so we turned the boost a bit.

The 3rd pass resulted in a 7.89 @ 176 with peak boost of 15psi at the top of 3rd. The 4th pass was as shown on the timeslip here:

3rd pass - 7.89 @ 176 (7mb)

4th pass - 7.87 @ 179 (5mb)

You can see in the videos the car is not really leaving very hard. On the third pass Kurt barely brought it to the 2-step and let it go. He let a bit more boost build on the last pass. We are happy with the car and confident this thing will be very predictable for Dave. The car still has a lot of power left, but that will be for Dave to discover

We will run the car Friday night at Milan withe the 10.5 tires on it.

Sweet, I'm sure Dave is stoked! When does he get to pick it up and make some passes? I want to hear about his reaction to that monster!

incredible. great to see a shop go full service down to a 7 second show quality turn key setup. awesome job!

also nice to see a 3 speed turbo car out there. seems like everyone with a turbo wants a glide.

No trip to Milan tonight after all. Dave is sick and can't make the trip. He has the 10.5 tires, so no need to bring the car out.
