What is the voltage on the battery? You know new batteries can be bad.

How much voltage are you getting at the starter?

check power at the battery...you may have a shitty ground too.

also that alt hookup isnt legal for the nhra...you need to hook the alt up at the other side of the battery switch so that it cannot keep the car running after the power is shut off.

this helped as well

i did this as well

It was the small yellow/black wire from the Theft Deterrent Relay (TDR) to the BCM (body control module) which grounds the TDR through the BCM. So we just soldered on a "jumper" wire from the terminal at the TDR and grounded it to the factory grounding stud on the inside passenger door/closeout panel.

THe only diff this made was i could try and start the car with out the clutch...now i have to push the clutch in ....

I believe your cable running from the kill switch to the starter is wrong. The other side of the kill switch should run to the junk box. The other side of the kill switch should have a direct wire to your alt and positive side of battery. Check out this diagram. This is NHRA legal. -Mark
