Default EGR w/LS6 Intake Question

I want to put an LS6 intake manifold in my 98. But, unlike the 01-02 f-bodys, my car uses an EGR system.
I would like to order the intake through GM since I work in a GM parts department and would save some money by going this route, but, I need to find out how I can modify it to keep the EGR system functioning. I don't think I really want to by-pass it. I would like to be "emissions legal". I know SLP sells an LS6 intake for the 98-00 cars with some sort of modification that will allow you to retain it. But the SLP intake would be a lot more money. Does anyone know how I can modify mine if I go with the GM version?
Thanks In Advance!

You must live in Mr Rogers Neighborhood. When I hear people say things like "I want to be "EMISSIONS LEGAL" it makes me want to run right out to the nearest dragstrip and breathe some NITRO fumes, which is what you should probably do and you wouldn't say things like that anymore. Why don't you just bypass the darn thing instead of coating your entire intake system with SOOT? Nothing works better to make your engine run like crap than a healthy dose of carbon. Of course you can always invite the EPA over to clean your throttle body, intake and heads after they get coated with RECIRCULATED BURNT GASES. Like that will really happen. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to show up because they have other MORE IMPORTANT things to do like adding new regulations to justify their own existance. If you bypass it properly the EGR valve will open and close when commanded to do so and will provide filtered air to the intake and NOT set a DTC.
