Question about gaping gauge
Hey everyone
Well I am in the middle of my first spark plug change (yeah its not fun). I have a question though about gaping my plugs. I have NGK TR-55's that I am installing ordered from Ls1speed inc. I am going to be installing a supercharger (hopefully) and I was told to gap them at .40. I have the tool but when I check the gap on them it seems larger than .40 from the factory. I read they are gapped at .55-.60 from the factory. Is there any way I can regap them to .40? How do I go about closing the gap? Just bend it?
Sincerely
