Shut up cousin's husband. Well for the weekend, we are having a small family reunion at my house. Well some of family came last night at about 7pm or so. Well I was just chilling outside and here came my cousin with her husband (they had just got married 8 months ago) so I really didnt know him to well. Well we start talking and as my dad arrives he opens the garage to park his truck inside and my cousin's husband sees my Cobra in the garage. Well I found out he has a SRT-4(it was parked around the corner) that has some little mods done to it, but not much. So he tells me that at the track he ran a 13.7 Im just listening to his stories and he then all of a sudden tells me that once he beat a 03-04 Cobra from a roll. I tell him it was probably a GT, and he says naw it was a Cobra. Well then my cousin (dont know if she was trying to be on his side or anything) said yah he did beat a mustang that looked like yours. So I call bs on him and he starts telling me that when his turbo kicks in that a Cobra cant hang from a roll. I tell him that a bone stock Cobra would smoke him from a roll and that he must have raced a GT. Well he gets mad a little bit and asks if i want to go race and show me how fast his SRT-4 is. I say sure and start the Cobra and let it warm up for a bit. I tell him to follow me onto the freeway as we do. We get to about 60mph and Im in second and tell him like i usually always do to jump and ill go after. So he jumps and I step on it and pull away like no tomorrow. I slow back down and get beside him and do it one more time, and same results. Buslengths by end of 3rd gear. We get back to the house and he says yah your car is pretty fast and he doesnt talk to me for the rest of the night.

Haha, nice kill. Always feels good to spank someone that doesn't know crap about the capabilities of even stock cars, and brag about how fast their car is. Way to show him what racing an '03-04 Cobra' is really like.

All of you missed it. 13.7 is enough to walk a 99-01 Cobra from a roll, especially in an SRT4. I can see him edging out a so-so driver with a 99 cobra that needs some plug wires and an air filter change. He doesnt drive a Cobra and so I doubt he notices the subtle difference in the look between the NA 99-01 and the SC 03/04 Cobras. I know if I wasnt a ford guy I could easily miss the difference in the spoiler and rims. Other than that, kinda dick of him not to talk the rest of the night. Little man syndrome.
