If I do not hook up the AIR system (on race style headers) will it trip a code?

If I do not hook up the AIR system (on race style headers) will it trip a code? I am planning on getting some QTP stainless race headers, without provisions for the AIR system. If I just do not hook the tubes back up, what will happen? Will the system just blow air out the tubes or will the computer know that they are no longer connected to the manifolds?
Reason I say this is because I will not be getting programming. I already have the 02 simms, but just want to know about the AIR system.

Is there any way I can fool the air system electronics with a resistor???
