Default Cutout + Exhaust Question

I currently have a magnaflow exhaust and it's pretty quiet. Sometimes I wish it was louder but other times I love the smoothness on the highway.

Do cutouts sound just as good as lets say a loudmouth or are they more anoying and raspy ? I'm trying to decide between getting a loud exhaust or keepin the magnaflow and adding a cutout. So if I turn the electric cutout on, would it sound similar to an SLP loudmouth (open pipe) ?

thanks

My experience with my cut-out has been decent. At wot theres not much like it. But when on the highway it does get annoying sometime. But its as easy as capping it to take care of that. I placed my cut out right behind the passenger seat, some people put it right at the muffler(prolly little quiter there). I say get one adn cap it on the highway and take it off when racing or just crusing in town. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I was driving next to a guy who had one on his
Z-28 and it sounded really good. Probably not
to his neighbors at 2AM, but it had a good
healthy tone to it.
