Wtf is a "body Control Module"
Ive got a 1999 NbM Trans am, took it to Gm to have it skanned, they said that the 'Body Control Module' was not working, and is why my gauges arnt working. Is this Correct???

The BCM controls much of the driver's interface with the vehicle. In many cars it operates the headlights and turn signals, and drives the speedometer and tachometer displays. So, yes...that is correct. However, I would check all your connections first, to be sure it's not just a connection, as opposed to, the BCM.

in some cars like he said the "body control module" controls stuff like most lights, windows, and other small stuff inside the car..like the courtesy lights for example.. u know what i mean...anyways one day my gauge cluster went out and my car wouldnt start.....point is i was goin nuts trying to find the prolem and it was just a blown "gauges" fuse, which killed all power. so check all the little things first be4 jumping into a new body control module, they might be alil expensive new::::::just my .02
