I was thinking of going to bristol tonight but it was hotter here then there so I stayed in the a/c

Getting down there, a low 1.50 60' will get you in the 9s..

What was your IAT at the 1/8?

Man speaks from experience...they are maxxxxxed.

142F in the 1/8 Kevin....you were smart to stay in the AC...I'm with ya now....too dang hot for FI.

Auto trans.

PSJ, I'd kill for a sixty like that......may need a little more stall...foot stalls around 2300, flashes around 2800-3000....tight on the topend though.

Thanks guys....been on a long road.

Excellent times, running meth yet? That would help bring the IAT's down some

Meth's on my next mod to do list....I'm thinking about tuning it for 12.0 af and let the meth bring it down to 11.7 or so, so nothing bad happens if the meth quits on a run.

Sounds like a good plan. But even with a small 7 nozzle I had to drop my WOT VE tables 25-30% just to get it back into the 11.6-11.7 range

Meth is just a band aid. I would get the correct turbos, or a real good intercooler. You will be happier in the long run!

meth will keep those IATs reasonable. I took my intercoolers off and upped the meth and gained .10 avg. Seems like 15-16 psi is the limit for my baby incons...after that, IATs cancel out the boost. The meth is prolly gonna drop you a full point!! Your incon car is faster than mine I ran your times on a faster 60' in better air so you got me beat.

Heck, I've been CHASING your ET for a year...and still not there That run peaked at 16.4 psi in the manifold. I bet the inlet temp to the IC was +300F....it's funny to watch the IAT drop like a rock as soon as the run ends. I'm ready for a break..I had to redo the complete fuel system from pumps to rails, injectors, regulator, etc, learn to tune with EFI Live(more like hack ), redo the IC and plumbing.....I'm waiting for some cooler air....

Or, I could install a meth kit and relocate the IAT sensor...

Plus I have this experimental 100mm MAF to try and fit on the car......and retune (hack )

It never ends..........

No more chasing tom, that mph at bristol is pretty stout.

I added 2 more PSI and 20-30 degree hotter IATs shot that right down lol. I'm with you and taking a break for a while. Just going to fix up my exhaust a little and wait for some nice weather

Dude, that is amazing... My 60 with my 10 bolt and 255/50/16 et street radials I ran a 1.71 60', you will SOOO be in the 9's so fast with a better 60 man. Those are some freakin SCREAMING numbers. My goal with the new motor is to break 130 mph in the 1/4. That is a beautiful number, 10.19, ESPECIALLY with the DA and temperatures being so freakin high. Our track opens up again Thursday, too bad it's over 100F again here, and my car is blown up. Can't wait to hear from you again when the weather cools off, get some 9's in there, time for a chute and a lot more work! =) Congrats man, that is huge news.
