Default Merge Collectors with Stock Internals?

Are merge collectors of any benefit on a stock internal car? I'm keeping the internals stock for SCCA classification purposes. However, if merge collectors squeeze out any extra horsepower, I may as well take advantage since I can't change my internals. If it makes a difference, the car will be dynotuned when the headers and merge collectors are installed.

Merge collectors most times help. They help in average power too where you are looking for power in that class. The problem is only a dyno will tell.
