Default Curbed my car part II

I curbed my car a week ago, the body shop told me I needed a new knuckle and bearing on the front passenger side, so I went to the junkyard today, and swapped one out. Now the wheel is at like a 70 degree angle inward, and it used to be 90 with the old bent knuckle.

Is the knuckle I replaced it with bent as well, is something else bent like the upper or lower control arm or can this be fixed with an alignment?

It is possible you just got a bad part. I would take it back to the yard and see if you can compare it to another one and go from there.

I am with Pyro97. You can never really tell if a part that you get from the yard, is good or not. They might say it's good, but you can never really trust them. Good luck in finding a good part.

Bit OT but nice car, kept it in good shape. Hope you get it fixed (cheaply).

I would guess you have a bent upper control arm by looking at the angle of that wheel.

Long story short I'm never going to Clarksville Auto Center, in Clarksville, MD, for mechanical problems. They told me I had a bent knuckle and a broken wheel bearing and that it was going to be $1100 to fix. After replacing the knuckle/bearing from a junkyard and having a friend who works at a Chevy dealer look at it, we found out it was the lower control arm that needed to be replaced. I will be doing that job this weekend.
