Default Does anybody have a 700RWHP 5.7L on a power adder?

Just like the title asks, reason being is that this is my goal for my 2002 Camaro. Here is a little bit of what I have so far for next week's build:

CNC Inc 5.3L heads (which flow 317CFM @ .600" lift)
LS6 block torque plate honed .010" over with .004" piston-to-wall clearance
Wiseco pistons .010" over
Eagle rods
Balanced bottom end
Total Seal conventional rings
Clevite 77 rod bearings
Speed Pro main bearings
ASP Crank Pulley
SLP oil pump
Comp lifters and pushrods
ARP main and head studs
GM MLS head gasket
LS6 Manifold
BBK 85MM throttle body
SLP lid
SLP long tubes
X-pipe with Borla XR-1s
Spec stage 3+
SLP Zexel differantial
SLP radiator
NX NXL direct port kit set at 250 shot
TSP intake fuel pump
MSD wires

Here is also another question, what cam should complement this setup so I can hit 450RWHP on engine alone and 700RWHP with a 250HP direct port shot?

I'm open to suggestions and please let me know if anybody has hit 700RWHP or more on a 5.7L Gen 3 engine.

You will need to search more about the cams that are working well with that big of a shot and as well as N/A.
I have had and currently have all nitrous grinds in my cars.
222/226 .566/.569 114+4
224/230 .581/.581 114
244/248 .598/.598 115+2

The 244 cam goes deep into the 6's and low 7's before it is in operating range that is optimal. It has made the most power overall. I have a dyno for it as well with a set of Ls1 heads that have been ported.

I am SURE that there are a few people out there that have gone higher than that on the stock displacement.

Search will be your best friend in this scenario.

Running a tad lean for my liking, but this is with a slopped together tune.

Those are great numbers, is this on a stock bottom end?

How is your idle and do you drive your car daily?

I'd search around in the nitrous and forced induction sections. I know of a few guys running over 700rwhp with built stock displacement motors and power adders.

I have stock cubes and made 638 through a auto on a conservative tune and a 200 shot. Heads with TREX. Gonna up the shot to a 250 in the next few weeks. Ran a 6.22@110 with a 1.40 60'. on the only pass so far on the jug

I made 600 RWHP with stock block, crank and rods and ran 9.80's @ 139, I then stepped the heads WAY up and made 696 RWHP blowing through the convertor 24 mph, which I have been told is probably another 20-30 RWHP in lost power, the entire run lasted a little over 1 second. Check out the 2 graphs, one graphed in RPM the other in MPH. The car never made it 60 feet with that much power. TNT 250 power ring.

Something that might be of interest, we have never had another LS1 power adder car make as much power as my almost stock shortblock did, and among those were a W2W 402 with a F1R blower as well as another 408 with a 250 shot

I'll probably make around 400rwhp NA, and almost 700rwhp on 15# boost *wink*. Does that count? You Nossers are lucky, I should've gone that route. =)

Holy s&^t Brian, you gained nearly 300 RWHP with 250 shot settings and almost hit 700 RWHP.
That is excellent, glad to see somebody did it on a stock shortblock. Hopefully I can have your luck with my built bottom end.

Skipperbisket, that seems like a killer setup but I'm shooting for a daily driver that can cruise on the highway, cool down, and then lay down 700 RWHP on pump gas.

It seems more like the daily driven 600RWHP < X > 700 RWHP Gen 3 engines are boosted and not nitroused. Is Nitrous not more cost and power efficient than boost?

I was looking at LS1Speed's Cam Selection and I like their Supercharger Cam Profile: 226/234 with .598"/.599" @ 117 LSA.

What do ya'll think?

I'm thinking with this cam I will lay down 400RWHP < X > 415RWHP naturally aspirated but hopefully hit 700 RWHP on a 250 shot like Brian's Vette.

indeed, there are many over the 700 number on stock cubic inches, this thread seems like it might go better in the nitrous section
