Default How many FI guys are running NOS too???

You guys see the question:

How many of you are using two power adders? Do you take that into account when you build your Motor? What difference with a dual power adder motor vs: just a FI motor?

I want to know also, I had considered even a 50-75 hp shot to get the pos car off the line without the 2 step to get the turbo spooled up out back. I hope you are not planning adding NOS to your setup, it's already ridiculous enough as it is bud!!! =)

I've seen a few SC guys running nitrous. I can't recall any turbo guys spraying. I'm definately interested.

I ran nitrous on my GN back in like 1990 to get it in the 9s, I overturbod and there were no 2 steps or boost building toys. A 75 shot on a 2 second timer worked very well.

I also ran a 50 shot on my old P1SC LS1 car, mainly used it for hot weather since the bottle pressure was high when it was hot out and it would make up for the power the blower lost nicely. A 15lb bottle lasted forever too..

Just have to take your time and work up slow, it works thats for sure..

I'm constering it for my truck just to help it spool. Maybe just a 50 dry shot and use EFILives COS 5 to add a little fuel to get it spooled. Big turbo + small motor = :sad KB:

Also, Parish8 run a 100 shot on his truck I belive to get his 1000rwhp

Why aren't you running N20 on your current setup?

Dont need it, its fast enough really and it still runs 9.70-80s in 90 degree weather - thats good enough for me.

Like anything its just one more system to fail, I like to keep things simple and do nothing but wax the car and change the oil a few times a season these days.

But if you are close to getting what you want, say 9.99, and 10.10s are the best you can get without having to do some major changes it a great option..

Unless u plan on runnin a huge shot fo Nitrous adn boost as well then most forged motors, that are built for boost, do fine. I dunno anyone personally that has boost and Nitrous in a Domestic car, but i know alot in the imports. It really makes an amazing difference gettin a 60-1 spinnin in a split second as compared to teh day it takes a 2 liter 4 banger spinnin it.
Most of the applications of turbos on LS1's have a turbo specced out to work perfectly with teh power they wanna make and are auto as wel lso there is no issue gettin it spooled up. I really dont see a need on most turbo applications for LS1's if u aitn all race. GL man

I run a 125 shot. Yes, I told my builder I planned on shooting Nitrous.

When I eventually move up to a D1. I probably won't shoot quite as much.

I would consider running a 50-75 shot, bottle'd last for a LONG time, and I don't want to depend on it unless I roll against someone faster than hell. I'll be happy breaking 10.99 in my "daily driver" LOL. =)
