Hello All,
I am a Technical Representive for REV Racing Engine Valves in Ft Lauderdale, FL and this situation has recently been brought to my attention. There is some confusion with the techical specs on the valve spring that we offer for the LS1 application.
1- The spring is actually good for .610" of cam shaft lift maximum (this figure includes a safety margin)..
2- The springs installed height is 1.800-1.840" and provides 135LBS on the seat, and needs to be used with REV Locators and REV retainers.
3- The spring in question for this situation was a REV inner but not a REV outer thank GOD for that inner.. we do not know where the outer came from. (THIS IS FACT)..
Any other questions or concerns Please Call our techline @ 800.398.6348
