Default getting a cam

I have been thinking about getting a cam for a while. I decided on the CheaTR cam from Thunder Racing its specs are 214/230 and .601 In/ 578 Ex. with a 117 LSA. It comes with crane cams valve springs, titanium retainers, pushrods and valve stem seals. Its power band is from idle-6800rpms. So what do you guys think? what kind of boost in power should I be expecting?

I'd do longtubes, intake manifold, tb, and depending if auto or stick, stall/cluch gears. Then I'd throw a cam on that thing.

if you were to do it the other way, I don't know the going rate of hp gain w/o headers and intake, i'd say maybe 20-40 rwhp?

I'll let the guys who know what they are talking about chime in for the real #'s.
