Default Ordering Prof Products 85mm combo.. Questions

Decided to get the 85 mm combo since it looks like a lot of the gains to be seen on intakes are heavily dependent on a better throttle body.

I was gonna paint them to save a few bucks but after I buy paint a all the prep work and supplies, I think I'll come out ahead with the polished.

I'll be installing my DIY heads at the same time.

Here is my parts list, anything I'm missing?

NGK TR55 Spark Plugs - Quantity 8 Pack $22.00

Holley Power Shot Air Filter (1998-2002) $47.95

GM GM LS1 Valve Stem Seal Kit, 8 Intake $15.44

GM LS1 Valve Stem Seal Kit, 8 Exhaust $14.36

Professional Products Power+Plus Typhoon LS1 Intake (Polished) $470.95

Professional Products 85mm Throttle Body with Cable Style Throttle Linkage (Polished) $220.99

ARP Thread Sealer (1.69 Fluid Ounce) $7.88
is 1.7oz enough? Do I need Loctite too? Which type?

COMP Cams SBChevy & LS1 O.E. HYD RLR High Energy Lifters $239.95

GM head gaskets

GM Head bolts

Dexcool - 1 gallon

Motor Oil - 6 qts

Do I need a new gasket between the intake manifold and heads?

I just got EFI live too. I think this wave of mods is really going to give my Hotcammed setup a kick in the pants.
Oh yah and I ordered Bilstein revalves + Hotchkis springs too!

You need new head bolts, the stockers are not re-useable. I never used ARP thread sealer on any of my stuff, and you shouldn't need loctite on anything you're doing.

If you're pulling the heads, I'd replace the lifters with some Comp 850-16's. They are stock replacements and fairly cheap. I did use some blue loctite on the bolts holding down the lifter trays (there's 2 on each side).

I would go ahead and get a new set of port gaskets (manifold to head connection) if the manifold doesn't come with them. I have no idea if it even uses the same style as OEM or a FAST unit, so you'll have to find out. Might want to call BYUNSpeed or something and ask.

oops forgot to put the head bolts on the list. They are on order
Thanks
I added the lifters too. I hope there's not much else. ...already over budget!

Are the intake gaskets reusable? I'm just wondering because I saw a couple of how to's that don't say anything about it and I'd rather not spend any unecessary money at this point.

Yes, the intake o-rings are reusable. Hopefully the new intake retains the same gasket design.

This is the point I was trying to make in my first post.

I know people have to use RTV on the Wieand intake.

Sweet! Post some pics and stuff when it comes in. Clicking submit order is one of the most addictive things in the world (next to crack cocaine). Then you get to sit back and wait for that glorious thing known as a "tracking number".
