Default 28in Slick Rubs Fender, How To Fix?

Just got done mounting my 15x8 Prosars and 28x10.5x15 MT Drags and theyre touching the rear fender a bit on both sides. Ive heard a lot of things people do to make tires fit, but dont know how to go about them.

Im assuming i need to roll the fender, but have no idea how to do that.

Or maybe its something else?

Tony.

Isnt that for the inner fender? Its the outer fender, the bumper with all the sexy paint.

Inner fender...hammer
Outer metal fender...baseball bat to roll the lip
Urethane rear bumper...cut-off wheel

Adjustable control arms will help too by adding the ability to move the tire forward or back.

No. It's dyed urethane runner. Just mark out where you plan on cutting first.

Do you have adjustable lower control arms? If so....adjust the rear away from the side it is rubbing.

So by gettin LCAs i can fix this problem, i knew LCAs moved the rear, but do they do it that much? Its on both sides too, its equal on both sides.

You may be able to adjust the rear foward with adjustable control arms but that looks pretty close and don't forget the tires will GROW about an inch in diameter by the end of your run. How close is it in the front? You may wind up having to trim that part of the rear bumper. You can't roll that part that's rubbing, you can only roll the rear quarter part that's metal but I don't think you'll need to do that unless your car is lowered. I am surprised it's that close in the rear can you post a pic of the whole wheelwell so we can see the front?

Shitty pics yes. I have no room to take pics were the car is.

Also, the car is a rolling chassis so its sitting different then it will be with the engine/trans, could that be a factor?

I think you're ok up front but sorry to say, you're gonna have to trim that rear part. Trim it like an inch and a 1/2 then glue the end back on, sand it and touch it up.

By the looks of it you can move the whole rear forward about 3/4" with adjustable LCA's. This will make it a close fit to where you may not have to trim the bumper.

Suma Bitch. I refuse to cut my bumper, i will try LCAs first and if that doesnt work, its back to 26'' ET STREETS.

Should I relocate the LCAs too?

If you relocate them you might have a problem with the upper most part of the tire rubbing, I'm sorry but I don't see how adjustables are going to give you the clearance you need because of the growth of the tire. If you hook on 26" ET streets why don't you try the MT ET Drag Radial, they don't grow and I'll bet you could fit a 28" DR in there w/o any rubbing and if they do rub you know adjustable lca's will fix that.
