car died while running the 1/4
so like the title says i got in line for my first run the whole night at NED and as i shift into 3rd my exhaust got real loud...like the coupling came off from the header to the cat...so as i go into 4th i hit 6200 and the car shut off and coasted past the line...it wouldnt start at all but it would turn over...like it has no spark...checked all the fuses...all ok...it pulled 1 code...anti-theft...i figured maybe the car is locked out from turning over...disconnect the battery and wait about 10 minutes and still wont start...it starts to make the noise like it needs more fuel but when i give it gas...nothing...what should i look for...or where should i start i guess?
Thanks

it still cranks the same speed as normal just seems like its not getting fuel...i have over a 1/4 tank, i thought maybe air got in the lines somehow so i tried givin it some gas when it was cranking, still nothing...relays/fuses are ok...ill try to hook up a fuel pressure gage to the rail...i really hope its not a blown motor since i only put 7000 miles on this 1...i guess i can buy an ls2 if this ones trash....

i know its not that accurate of a test, but you can hold the schrader valve in on the test port while someone is turning it over to see if fuel keeps squirting out. if the fuel pump is junk nothing should be coming out obviously.

heh...i poked around under the car and found some wires....they lead to....another fuse! go figure it was sittin just under my linelock solenoid....now my question is why did the fuel system fuse blow? the exhaust coupling on the driver side came undone but didnt completely dump, could that have affected the car at all? the fuse was a 20 amp if it matters...god i feel like an idiot
