FS: Forged 346
short block was assembled by Reher & Morrison, and has about 2 hours of run time just being on the dyno, never driven on the street.
LS1 Block & Stock LS1 Crank
Crower 6.125" Rods
Lunati 12cc Dome Pistons
ARP Rod Bolts and Main Studs
This motor makes 12.5:1 CR with a stock LS1 head combustion chamber. The pistons are an LS6 dome and can be run with any LSX head (an LS1 dome wont work with an LS6 head)
This motor was built for all out drag racing, it was built as a nitrous motor but could be just as easily be run as a high compression NA motor. with a 62cc chamber (LS6 head) it will make right at 12.7:1 with a stock gasket.
Asking $2500 for the Short Block
Also have:
Custom Grind Cam Motion Cam (243/246 .617/.632 112+4)- $275
Dual Timing set-$80
Comp "850" Lifters-$180
all those parts have the same amount of use as the motor.
if anyone is interested i can get pics of any of this, just pm or email me, or post up and i will get it taken care of.

~460, never really got into it that far, pulled the motor after initial dynos and it's just sitting at the shop now waiting for a new home. never really spent that much time with it. with the right heads/cam setup it could be an easy 500rwhp motor though with the compression its capable of depending on head combustion cc's.

Shortblock
Are these hollow dome pistons? Wondering if the dome could be milled to lower the compression? Also are these LS6 domes or LS1 ? THanks, Im interested ...... Do you have the build sheet from Reher, and how long has it been sitting?

yes the domes could be milled to lower the compression, i have thought about doing that myself and keeping the motor, but i am going to a bigger setup. these are LS6 domes which means they will work with any of the LSX heads available from what i've been told. been sitting about 2 months, no build sheet.

The easiest way to lower the compression would be to use a thicker head gasket. At that compression the motor ought to love a small shot of the juice. A Rehr-Morrison LSX engine is probably fairly rare and ought to be reliable and be worth the price.

Motor looks good. Good luck with it...
