Default Biggest Cam with LS6 springs?

OK, i'm building a ls1 6spd for my project 77 Trans am, i got the tsp ls6 heads and put a set of dual springs on them so i have the ls6 springs left over.

I'm thinking about rebuilding the engine on my 98 TA A4 daily driver (mods are lid, !cats, cat back, i can do headers if needed.) The car will see 500 miles a week on the hwy. I'm looking for something that will give me some more power without causing a drop in gas milage. I want to get 22+ mpg hwy. The car has 3.23 gears, and i'm thinking about swapping for the 2.73s to help with milage.

What is the biggest cam i can use with stock stall 3.23 gears and ls6 springs?
What is the biggest cam i can use wiht stock stall 2.72 gears and ls6 springs?

OR

What cam will give me the best hwy fuel milage?

Thanks!

In general 02+ LS6 springs are capable to handle up to .570 lifts. That partialy depends on the lobe rate (see GT2-3 LPE cam). You can also shim them to handle more pressures, but by doing so you reduce their life expectancy.
