I need some ideas as far as appearance goes fellas. Got my car into a little wreck early June and now things are starting to come around. The body work is 95% finished and paint will have to wait till my new VFN WS9 Outlaw hood comes in. I just want to see some nicely done pewter cars to get ideas as to what I want to do with the paint. I'd change the color all together, but taking everything out to get the underside and engine bay area painted would cost too much time and $$$.

nice pics! you rims look fantastic. I like those stripes you have on the driver's front quarter as well...are they painted on?

I was thinking of blacking out the back or atleast making them darker. Did you do them yourself?

Both exterior/interior mods! Just keep in mind the car sits about 1.25 inches lower in the rear for obvious reasons, but you get the idea as to why when you see the stereo (SLP Bilstein/eibach suspension)

Just had the calipers polished and SS side vents installed (pg 2 pics)

Nice cars. I like pewter, however biased Just do a search, you'll find plenty of nice pewter cars on her. One thing I have noticed is that with pewter either you have to go with black accents or chrome. Either way looks nice.

Totally agreed.....not too many options w/o looking retarded! Not sure about your neck of the woods, but have you noticed that Purple, NBM, SOM, and Black seem to perform better at car shows. Seldom, if ever, do I ever beat those STOCK guys

Unless you highlight the exterior w/high polished aluminum, polished Stainless steel, or chrome, or black, it just doesn't look right.

Maybe a two tone like accent would work....like a very dark metallic blackish color and one level lighter. I like those hash marks alot. I'm doing those for sure. Mebbe have Trans darker and Am lighter on the side. center of the bird darker, the outer parts lighter (on the front plate) do you get what i'm saying?

Thanks alot. The stripes are vinyl decals, I got them from afterthoughts auto. They're the graphite color, I thought it would be a more subtle combo than black/pewter. For the tail lights I just got some covers and they look 1'000x better than stock. Everyone's right, black is the only way to go.

Oh, and here's a photoshop Brian2006 did of my car with a nice drop. Hopefully it'll look like this as soon as I get some time:

that raptor hood looks wicked TransAm_00. I was considering getting that one, but the WS9 Outlaw won on a coin flip

As of right now i haven't seen a ws9 outlaw on any pewter car. I may be a pioneer....
