i feel like such a dumass. Bought mine off a dude with a T/A for $300 only to realize it wasnt truly mandrel bent. Ended up leaving the fu**ing thing in my garage. Maybe ill sell the flowmasters off of it one day if anyone seems interested. Im just gonna get cutouts or go to Texas Speed and Performance and get their true dual setup when i go for my dyno tune.

$550 for installed 3" duals with X-pipe, dynomax bullets and dumps. The fit and ground clearance is rather good. Purchased at/from LS1 Speed three years ago.
Where did you get the rest of the piping? No mandrel bends, I assume.

Not mandral bent, but for right now I don't really care. Especially when I see guys paying $1k+ for their setups. My true duals are 3" to the x, then 2.5" after teh x.
$150 for x-pipe and installation
$100 for 2 Magnaflow's

Do it right the first time: go with people who know what they're doing. If you don't, you will regret it. And whatever you do: do not go with crush bent!

i have crush bent 3" true duals. i gave $90 for the x pipe kit from jegs, $155 for the mufflers (4x9 magnaflow) and $200 to have it all installed (dumped at axle). excellent installation, everything tucks very well, no rattles. i can fit a 12 oz pop can under my dumps (lowest part of the system), and everything before that has MORE clearance than my b&m deep tranny pan. car is not lowered on stock 16" 00 z28 rims and 245/50/16s. i have slightly more clearance with my m/t DRs on.
i picked up 6.5 mph from adding an ls6 intake and the full exhaust (including coated longtube pacesetters). i seriously doubt that a mandrel bent system would've given me much more, if any. this crush bent system is VERY smooth and professionally done, i guess it pays to have guys in the exhaust business. the car is getting tuned today, so i will have hopefully another 1-2 mph to add onto that total.
edit: $445 total for everything excluding the headers.
