how can i tell if my turbo is bad or goin bad?

Default how can i tell if my turbo is bad or goin bad?

i found some oil in my intake elbow just before the throttle body, and where the maf is, could this be why it seems as if im getting blue smoke and not getting full boost? how would i be able if my turbo is goin bad? or is this nothing to do with the turbo

Take off your down pipe and check that side too, if there is visible oil there you have problems with your oil draining or the turbo is just in need of a rebuild.

Just to clarify the TTI kit uses not scavange pumps of any kind?

BTW rebuilds cost about 225 + a rebuild kit which is 150 or so, and they cost about $35-40 to ship each way.

oh appreciate the help, but what were you saying about uses not scavange? i dont understand

electric pump between the turbo oil drain and pan to assist in returning oil
