Re: Installing Rocker Arms
I did that method with my TR224 cam, and ended up with a noisy valvetrain. This time, I tightened each intake rocker with the exhaust valve fully open, and vice versa for the exhaust rockers. 22 ft-lbs on one pass. This trick really works, and now my valvetrain is almost completely quiet with a .591 lift cam.

So it really doesnt matter where piston one or which valves are open when you do it? Just tighten, rotate crank, tighten again?
