Dunno what this is.. how to get rid of?
I bought the car like this, was only awhile ago. Just getting to it now..
Is this chrome corrosion or something? Any way to get rid of or is it perma?

Pretty sure its coming off. Previous owner seems to have not takin care of these at all. Only got it about 2-3 months ago too. The inside of the rim is pretty effin dirty, thats only the front passanger wheel tho everything elses' outter appearance is fine.

i recently got mine as well...and it also looks like the previous owner didnt take care of them either...they looked almost brown when i got em...i scrubbed every nook and cranny with steel wool and they look sooo good now...it cleaned them very well...however there were a few spots that no matter how hard i rubbed wouldnt come off...im going to try and polish them tomorrow and see whath happens

looks like dog **** to me...
Try some simichrome polish on those... or if you can't find that, go to lowe's or advance auto and pick up some Noxon 7-metal polish and try that... I bet it comes right off

I was gonna say that or possibly brake fluid, had that happen on one of my trucks once.
