Appearance & Detailing - Took a few pics of the WS6 today!

I like it. It doesnt need anything exterior wise. You have all your bases covered.

i now like white on the ws6... mine is pewter and i have an apointment on monday to get the rear painted flat black, i am also thinking about painting the top behind the t-tops black like it is on the camaros...

I considered that as well, can u post some pics in here when/if you do it?

Thats what I did a few years ago, here is a pic. I love it. Also if you go with painting the top, then do gloss for the rear too, so it matches.

Some people do the mirrors too, but I dont really like the way it looks.

Mystic/TA if you have any other pics of the painted top post them up... Also Raider the tips were just a set of 3 1/2" rolled tips the exhaust shop had layin around, I said i liked them and wanted them!

I have a white 98, I just purchased a few decals and installed them, rear bumper lettering (pontiac -black), I am doing the same thing as you with the trans am and the bird I went white. I still have the trans am lettering on the doors though. I never noticed this before but does the 99 and up not have the stupid door molding? I'd love to take off that molding if that's what you did.

I was debating on whether or not to put the transAM back on the side, but I am unsure, I kinda like the clean look but then again there is nothing on the side and I think maybe a some black lettering woudl look nice! The Side molding was removed, however it didnt come off easy and it did not come off cleanly meaning the paint is not ruined but you can tell there use to be sometrhing there...

I've been thinking about just removing them for a while, 2 reasons, 1 I hate molding, it just shouldn't be on a car like ours. 2. It get's dirty and grimy and turns a different color.

For the rear trans am (white decal) and bird, did you just do an overlay, or did you remove the old decal (red)?

Staff 23, I just bought an overlay and placed it on the old red one... It was 90% gone already, but if I did it over, I would try and remove the remaining 10% of the red one, cause if you get close enough you can see some red!!

Great looking car. Do you have any clearance on those SLP Longtubes with Sportlines

In the 6th pic where its directly from the back, you can see my ground clearance... Its a few inches, not much! I avoid speed bumps when possible, but If i have to go over them, I can usually roll over them and not have it scrape unless its a big one.
