thinking about procharger after iraq
Im kinda new to this site. I have a 95 Z28 with 4:10 gears, headers, msd ig., k&n intake, underdrive pulley, rebuilt heads, power programmer. i head to Iraq next month. When i get back im gonna have some cash saved up and wanna get the procharger system, bigger brake kit and 17 in wheels. what system is the best and what else should i get with it. i was also thinking about making it a 383 stroker. im looking to spend around 10k for everything.

Well if you want something pretty simple that is lower maintenance a procharger is definantly a good way to go, its also cheaper than the turbo route.
How much power are you looking to make?

I am not very familiar with LT1's but 10K can get sucked up pretty quick with what ever FI system you go with plus the needed fuel upgrades and ecm solution. don't know if you'll have enough for wheels and brakes.
then you'll have to deal with the bottom end, rear and trans
good luck

I used to have a '94 Z28 with a forged 383, LT4 heads. and a T-trim Vortech. That car made 610 RWHP and was a monster. A D1 Procharger should provide around the same results, but I think that you'd have to be a good bargainer to do the whole package for under $15K.

The D1SC kit should work well for that amount you want to spend. A turbo set up will be more. Just don't forget to do your research and find out all the needed items you will need to support an FI system. Search is your friend! Good luck.
