Fiberglass Hoods and Hood Springs I just got my fiberglass WS6 style hood from VFN fiberglass. It is quite light and some people have told me I need less strong hood springs or even a pop up rod. I guess overtime using the stock hardware could damage the hood.

I was in a discussion about this not to long ago. I am waiting on my VFN Sunoco hood and was wondering the same thing. Here are some guys that have done this before:
