Default What catback are you running with FI?

I am currently running a stock muffler with a cutout mounted right under my driver floorboard. It makes good power there and I have the ability to go from very loud to VERY quiet but I decided today that I hate the way it sounds and I don't even enjoy driving the car anymore. It doesn't sound like an LS1 car should; more like a dumptruck. It sounds like complete *** under deceleration!
Anyway, I was going to move the cutout to the rear but it will still sound like *** and I am looking for a more refined sound. I had a loudmouth and didn't think it was too bad. I have heard magnaflow but its kind of muffled. I like the way the CORSA sounds but it cant handle 600rwhp. I was thinking about a Borla and putting my electric cutout where the plate goes. Will that be quiet enough when my g/f is in the car or cruising on a trip or will it still be noticeable over the stereo?

Main question: Will I loose power running through the Borla with a cutout over having the cutout in its current place?

I feel your pain. I've got a TT setup with a 236/236 cam and it sounds so freakin' quiet through an SLP DD. It sounds lame.

I've already started thinking about options....

I have the SLP dual/dual now. I am going to try it with a cutout and see how it does.

I use the Borla. With the adjustable plates it is a huge difference. Full plate on makes the car super quiet. No plate means John Force at the staging lane. I do feel the SOTP power loss with the full block off plate on.

I have the Hooker. It was tested as the best flowing catback out. Im keeping it for the turbo too and the muffler can be unbolted and take out in about 5 minutes
