Where to purchase autometer light bulb covers?
I'm trying to find these covers:
They go over the newer style autometer gauges to change the colors to whatever needed. I'm looking for blue. Here's the link where jegs sells them:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...chItemId=44249
It's exactly what I need the only bad thing is, which the shipping and handling charge jegs adds another $11 to any order. No matter the size. So basically I would be paying $20 for a 1/2" colored condom. Anybody know where else to buy them?

I'd send you my xtra's for free also, but when you buy a gage they only include the red and green condoms - blue and orange are not included. They may only be available in the condom kit you show...
You may have to wait till you have a larger order thru Jegs to make it worthwhile.

yeah i got the red and green but they just don't match my interior lighting one bit. But on the subject, when i put the red condom on for kicks, the light became extremely dull and was a lot harder to read the gauge because the bulb had less intensity. I read somewhere on the installation packet that came with the gauges saying you can purchase replacement bulbs from a local autometer dealer that are much brighter. Any clue on where to find those? Autozone didn't have them.

I used the red condoms for a while in my gauges, but I swapped them to red LED's and they look 1000X's better. There are a plug n' play so just swap out the bulb with any LED that will fit in a 194 wedge slot. Here is a link to where I got my multidirectional bulbs: http://superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

The LED's that RollTideTA posted about are the best bet. I have had those for over 2 years with zero problems. The colored bulbs from places like Autozone seem to work great for a short time (about 2 weeks) then they lose their color and brightness.
